Inbound Visibility

See expected receipts, arrival gaps, and inbound workload before the dock becomes the constraint.

Focused on the work

A focused module on the roadmap.

Planned

Purchase expectations, supplier shipment notices, appointments, and actual receipts are related but different records. Planned inbound visibility would help the team compare them without treating an expected quantity as physically received inventory. The result is a clearer basis for staffing, door planning, and supplier follow-up.

Module direction

What it is designed to address.

  • Connect expected receipts and advance shipment information.
  • Highlight late or incomplete arrivals.
  • Provide an inbound workload outlook.
  • Surface vendor and shipment discrepancies.

Keep the boundary clear

A connected extension, not a replacement.

Availability depends on source data and event timing. Receipt confirmation, discrepancy acceptance, quality decisions, and financial reconciliation remain in their governing workflows.

Confirm the integration

Review the WMS product and version, permitted interfaces, source records, refresh needs, and responsibilities. Agree whether this scope is read-only, includes recommendations, or returns approved changes. Do not assume direct database access or automatic write-back.

Agree how value is assessed

Name the process owner and the operational question. Establish a baseline and an acceptance method using representative data. Include exception handling and ongoing support in the conversation.

Roadmap concept: planned. Features, availability, sequence, and commercial terms are not committed. This page describes intended direction, not a product available to purchase today.
